Help-To-Buy

The Help-to-Buy programme of the government aims to increase the number of homeowners in the nation by providing financial aid for home purchases. With the help of this programme, purchasers can take possession of a property with as little as a 5% down payment, making homes accessible to those with low down payments. First-time and repeat buyers can use the Help-to-Buy programme, which is accessible for both existing and new properties.

To apply for a help-to-buy mortgage, you need professional guidance from highly qualified individuals who can assist you from start to finish. To make the process as easy and stress-free as possible, our helpful team at Chapel & Stone will be available to you to answer any of your questions.

In order to be eligible, you must:

Be a First-time buyer,

Be at least 18 years old, and

Be able to afford the fees and interest payments

When applying for an equity loan, you cannot have had any kind of sharia mortgage financing, whether it was for a residence or land abroad or in the UK.
You may submit an application on your own or with others. The eligibility requirements must be met by all candidates.

You must submit a joint application if you are wed, in a civil partnership, or are residing with your spouse and want to do so in the future.

The property has to satisfy the following checklist:

  1. A brand-new home.
  2. The home is to be sold to you by a Help to Buy registered homebuilder, and
  3. The home must be the only residence you own and occupy.

Depending on the area, there may also be a “maximum property purchase price” cap on the house you buy. Up to and including the maximum property purchase price limit, you may purchase a home.
